From Kinglake to Kabul

A moving example of a collaboration between Australian secondary school students and students in Afghanistan is the collection of stories penned by both groups, From Kinglake to Kabul. It all began with clutch of pencils and a desire to understand each other, from those who survived the fires that burnt through parts of Victoria, north-east of Melbourne, and young people living in the war torn city of Kabul.

This video provides an insight to the project with extracts from the book read by students.
